I began this painting by putting paint on the paper in a free form manner. The shape that appeared in the negative space was this beautiful angel. After I saw her shape, the rest came naturally.

I began drawing and painting plants and flowers at a very young age. My love of plants and design led me to study horticulture and later landscape architecture at the University of Florida. I've lived in Hawaii, Colorado and Paris, where I thoroughly enjoyed painting and drawing the different landscapes and gardens.
